WAMIT Version 6.4 is now available with various extensions and updates, including:

It is possible to interrupt a run and save the results already computed.

Automatic discretization of the interior free surface can be performed for irregular frequency removal

Trimmed waterlines can be specified, with prescribed vertical and angular displacements

Vertical walls can be represented, with bodies in the fluid domain and wavemakers in the walls

Automatic discretization of the control surface can be performed to evaluate mean drift forces

Users can modify the response-amplitude operators (RAO) before computing fluid pressures, velocities, and mean drift forces

Version 6.4PC is compiled using Intel Visual Fortran Version 10.1 and runs faster than earlier versions

The option to use MultiSurf geometric models requires licensing of the additional software, RGKernel, RG2WAMIT and MultiSurf. These are products of AeroHydro Inc. PC Executable licenses for these products and maintenance subscriptions can be purchased from WAMIT Inc.
